In the Know: As I am sure you all know (statement directed towards the SF locals), if the weather is nice, enjoying a glass of wine outside is a real treat. Of course, unless you want to be shunned while wearing your best business casual at Zeitgeist, pile into your minivan and trek over to The Ramp, or go into battle royale mode to snag one of probably only two spots outside any number of small pubs downtown, B Restaurant & Bar should be your new love affair. The 
designers, *insert designers names after the restaurant emails me back with it*, really used the surrounding environment to their advantage. Yerba Buena Gardens is such a lovely place, and even more lovely under the foliage lined, barrel vaulted colonnade outside the restaurant sipping on cocktails. They split the seating; half enclosed behind wall to wall glass and half outside, overlooking the gardens serene waterfall. During the day the restaurant's boast an organic look, the neutral colors blend well with the surrounding vegetation. The unnecessarily, ridiculously large (and quite amazing) pendant lighting over the bar fills the overhead air space, acting as a dividing element from the bar life to the dining life. And, I might add, something fun to gawk at. The space and locale is perfect for a calming business luncheon. During the night those unnecessarily, ridiculously large pendants do wonders for the interior materials. The mixture of lights and candles dance off what I am assuming is sandstone walls and dark wood based bar. Oh, the dramatic effect!
Who's Who: PG rating. You can pretty much enjoy this spot for all ages. Could even be nice to take your kids to during the day; you enjoy a sip of wine, they frolic around the water fountain (under your close supervision of course). Really just fun for the whole family. Happy hour is extremely nice for the after work crowd. Night time is a little more PG-13 to NC 17. Take a date. Oogle at eachother across the table. Walk along the waterfall after dinner holding hands. Make sure to mind the bums. And enjoy!
